Ryan Jung is a student associate in Sterne Kessler’s Electronics Practice Group where he assists in patent preparation and prosecution. His technical areas of expertise include artificial intelligence, machine learning, image processing, wireless communications, signal processing, database management systems, software development lifecycle (SDLC), financial technology, and automotive technology.

Prior to joining Sterne Kessler, Ryan developed multidisciplinary expertise at a defense contractor, contributing to projects spanning software engineering, embedded systems, hardware design, and systems engineering. Specifically, his work consisted of front-end and back-end software development, RF antenna design, and analysis of sensor data collected in the field.

Ryan earned a B.S. in Electrical Engineering (minor in Computer Science) from the University of Maryland, College Park while also working as a teaching assistant in the Computer Science department.
