Jacqueline (“Jackie”) S. Salwa is an associate in Sterne Kessler’s Trademark & Brand Protection Practice. Jackie focuses on trademark counseling and clearance, preparation and prosecution of trademark applications, and enforcement of both common law and registered trademarks.
Prior to joining Sterne Kessler, Jackie worked as an associate at a Boston area intellectual property boutique, where she gained experience in protecting and enforcing trademarks across a variety of industries and jurisdictions, worked on intellectual property litigation teams, and assisted clients with copyright registration and enforcement. Due to her diverse legal perspective, Jackie understands the complexities of brand protection and uses that knowledge to craft unique and tailored legal strategies for her clients.
During law school, Jackie gained significant counseling experience assisting startups founded by Harvard and MIT students with their initial legal questions. Jackie continues to do this work by mentoring Harvard law students in giving legal advice to clients.
