Aaron Sens is a technical specialist in Sterne Kessler’s Electronics Practice Group. His technical areas of expertise include artificial intelligence, machine learning, computer architecture, image processing, quantum computing, zero-knowledge cryptography, and blockchain technology.
Aaron supports preparing and prosecuting patent applications for a wide range of emerging technologies. Among these are agentic commerce, agent authentication, LLM-driven fraud detection, as well as complex financial infrastructure including payment architectures based on quantum computing and secure multi-party computation (SMPC), novel Layer 1 and Layer 2 blockchain solutions, and applied zero-knowledge cryptography.
Before joining Sterne Kessler, Aaron spent more than five years as a software engineer, primarily at a large multinational bank. He also has software engineering experience in industrial settings, including material handling and automotive manufacturing. His work spanned every stage of the software development life cycle and included large-scale data analytics, backend web applications for enterprise systems, SQL database management, and Linux administration.
Aaron received his B.S. in computer engineering and M.S. in computer science from the University of Cincinnati. During his graduate studies, Aaron researched efficiency improvements in performing topological data analysis with persistent homology and co-authored a conference paper on this evolving topic. He also served as a teaching assistant for both undergraduate and graduate operating systems courses.
