Sterne Kessler Raises Record-Breaking $45,000 for the Legal Aid Society of the District of Columbia

Sterne, Kessler, Goldstein & Fox is pleased to announce that the firm raised over $45,000 for the Legal Aid Society of the District of Columbia (Legal Aid) during the organization’s 2023 Making Justice Real Campaign. This amount constitutes a new firm fundraising record – exceeding last year’s total by over $11,000 – and reflects generous donations from firm employees and their networks, as well as matching initiatives contributed by numerous firm directors. All participating firms collectively raised over $3.4 million during the 2023 campaign, which was held from June 20, 2023, to August 4, 2023.

The firm extends special thanks to Associates Alexander R. Covington, Tyler S. Hoge, Fei Sha, and Matthew M. Zuziak for leading the firm’s record-high fundraising efforts as Sterne Kessler’s 2023 campaign co-chairs.

Legal Aid funds legal services for underserved DC communities in the areas of housing law, domestic violence/family law, public benefits law, and consumer law, among other services and projects such as appeals, immigration, and systemic advocacy. Sterne Kessler is a proud supporter of this nonprofit organization and has hosted a fundraising team for the annual Making Justice Real Campaign for many years.
