Sterne Kessler Helps Secure IPR Denial for Patent Invented by National Medal of Technology and Innovation Award Winner

Washington, D.C. (April 22, 2025) – Sterne, Kessler, Goldstein & Fox successfully secured denial of a PTAB inter partes review petition of U.S. Patent No. 7,809,996 on behalf of patent owner Adaptive Spectrum and Signal Alignment, Inc. The subject patent relates to adaptive forward error correction management used to improve digital communications systems performance. The inventor, Dr. John M.
