Stephanie M. Nguyen is an associate in the Trial & Appellate Practice Group and concentrates her practice in the area of patent litigation, including matters before federal district courts, Section 337 Investigations at the U.S. International Trade Commission, and inter partes matters before the Patent Trial and Appeal Board.
Stephanie is a contributing author of Patent Office Litigation, Second Edition, published in 2017 by Thomson Reuters Westlaw, the book provides a fresh and comprehensive exploration of patent office litigation proceedings, including how the proceedings interact with other aspects of patent procurement and enforcement, while delivering practical analysis and advice.
While attending law school, Stephanie served on the editorial board of the Virginia Journal of Law and Technology and as president of the Virginia Society of Law and Technology. She also participated in UVA’s Immigration Law Clinic partnered with the Legal Aid Justice Center.
Prior to attending law school, Stephanie was a College of Medicine University Scholar at the University of Florida, focusing her research on transcription-coupled DNA repair.
