Sosena Bekele is a paralegal in Sterne Kessler’s Trial & Appellate Practice Group. She graduated from New York University (NYU) with a Bachelor of Science in Media, Culture, and Communications, and a minor in Public Policy and Management. Sosena was selected as the sole John Withers Memorial Award Undergraduate Recipient for her outstanding scholastic attainment and service, loyalty, and devotion to NYU.
Following her graduation from NYU, Sosena joined Attorney Brian Schwalb’s Transition Team at the Office of the Attorney General for the District of Columbia and interned at the Superior Court of the District of Columbia, where she had the privilege of working under the guidance of the esteemed Honorable Yvonne Williams and Peter Kraughther. Sosena enjoys staying active by attending Zumba classes, immersing herself in different cultures through travel, and capturing moments behind the lens as an avid photographer.
