Randy Lacasse is a patent agent in Sterne Kessler’s Electronics Practice Group. His career has touched all aspects of intellectual property and technology: US patent examiner, Patent Agent, design engineer, inventor, entrepreneur, and director of innovation. He specializes in innovation lifecycle development, strategic and vision initiatives, portfolio development, merger and acquisition IP analysis, and analytics. In addition, he has extensive experience before the PTAB, successfully appealing USPTO decisions. He has prepared more than 1000 patent applications in technologies including telecommunications, cloud server systems, mobile solutions, wearable tech, software design, electric vehicles, data security, graphics, networks, and mechanical designs. He has also assisted in the monetization of thousands of market critical patents.
