Matthew B. Mahoney is an associate in Sterne Kessler’s Trial & Appellate Practice Group. Matthew concentrates his practice in patent litigation, including matters in front of the United States International Trade Commission (USITC) and Federal District Courts. Matthew has represented clients over a wide range of technologies, including wireless communication devices, graphics processing units, pharmaceuticals, semiconductors, and robotics.
While studying at Columbia Law School, Matthew joined the Frederick Douglass Moot Court team, the staff of the Columbia Science and Technology Law Review, and was an executive board member for Columbia’s Black Law Students Association for all three years. Matthew received his B.S. in mechanical engineering with distinction from the University of Virginia’s School of Engineering and Applied Sciences.
Matthew is a former Legal Council on Legal Diversity 1L Fellow and an alumnus of the SEO Law Fellowship.
