Maddie L. Richards is an associate in Sterne Kessler’s Trial & Appellate Practice Group.

Maddie graduated from Boston University School of Law where she served for two years as an editor for the Boston University Law Review. Additionally, while in law school, Maddie participated in the Startup Law Clinic, counseling student entrepreneurs in the Massachusetts Institute of Technology community on intellectual property strategies. She also worked as a research assistant for Keith N. Hylton, a William Fairfield Warren Distinguished Professor of Law at Boston University, analyzing matters concerning patent prosecution and litigation and co-authoring a forthcoming publication concerning patent law and economics.

Prior to law school, Maddie received her B.A. from Carleton College.
