Gibson Donnan is an associate in Sterne Kessler’s Biotechnology & Chemical Group. Gibson earned her J.D. from George Washington University Law School, where she was Associate Publication Editor for AIPLA Quarterly Journal and a member of The Order of the Barristers.
Gibson also participated in the United States Patent and Trademark Office National Patent Application Drafting Competition and the Patent Trial and Appeal Board Moot Court Competition. She also gained experience in pharmaceutical litigation.
Prior to law school, Gibson worked as an analytical chemist, where she developed and performed analytical assays for pharmaceuticals and complex drug delivery systems. Her work to supported shelf-life stability requirements, early-stage drug formulation, and regulatory approval. She has experience using high-performance liquid chromatography, ultra-performance liquid chromatography, size-exclusion chromatography, x-ray powder diffraction, dissolutions, and in-vivo/in-vitro correlation studies.
She received her undergraduate degree in chemistry from Williams College. During her undergraduate studies, Gibson was an intern at Cornell University College of Agriculture and Life Sciences, where she researched domestic wine grape breeding.
