Elizabeth W. Felps is the manager of the paralegal team in Sterne Kessler’s Trial & Appellate Practice Group and has over thirteen years of experience with federal district court and appellate litigation. Elizabeth performs a wide range of tasks supporting patent litigation at the firm.

Prior to joining Sterne Kessler, Elizabeth worked as a senior paralegal in anti-terrorism litigation in support of over 2,000 service members and their families. In that role, she provided litigation support, assisted with complex service-of-process issues, and managed a team of paralegals across multiple law firms.

Elizabeth received her master’s degree in Paralegal Studies from The George Washington University and her bachelor’s degree in Government from Liberty University. She is qualified by the National Association of Legal Assistants as a CP® (Certified Paralegal), which has been acknowledged by the American Bar Association as a mark of high professional achievement.

Elizabeth is also an active volunteer with Girl Scouts Nation’s Capital and holds a leadership position within her service unit. In 2022, she was awarded the Outstanding Leader Award by Girl Scouts Nation’s Capital.
