Overview

Joseph H. Kim is an associate in Sterne Kessler’s Trial & Appellate Practice Group. His practice involves complex intellectual property disputes in federal district court, before the Patent Trial and Appeal Board, and before the U.S. International Trade Commission.

Joe graduated from the University of North Carolina School of Law. While at UNC, He served as editor in chief of the North Carolina Journal of International Law. He was also selected to be a member of the Davis Society, which recognizes eight third-year students possessing both academic and personal excellence and a willingness to serve for the betterment of the law school community, its faculty, and students.

Prior to law school, Joe received his master of science in mechanical engineering and focused his laboratory research on high heat-flux microchannel condensation heat transfer.
