Brooke N. McLain is an associate in Sterne Kessler’s Trial & Appellate Practice Group. She concentrates her practice in the area of patent litigation, including matters before federal district courts and the United States International Trade Commission. Brooke has experience handling matters in areas such as ANDA pharmaceutical litigation and the automotive industry.

While attending J. Reuben Clark Law School, Brooke served for two years as an articles editor for the BYU Law Review. She was a Judicial Extern for the Honorable Judge David Nuffer of the United States District Court for the District of Utah. Brooke also participated in the Giles Sutherland Rich Memorial Moot Court competition, the Trial Advocacy Team, the Health Law Society, and the Center for Conflict Resolution.

Prior to law school, Brooke received her B.A. in Molecular and Cellular Biology from Harvard, focusing her studies on genetics. Her wet lab research focused on C. elegans, drug interactions, and fluorescent microscopy.
