Sterne Kessler Raises Nearly $77K in Support of Legal Aid DC’s 2026 Making Justice Real Campaign

Washington, D.C. (August 12, 2026) – Sterne, Kessler, Goldstein & Fox raised nearly $77,000 in support of Legal Aid DC and its 2026 Making Justice Real Campaign. The firm exceeded its original fundraising goal by 18% and ranked as the second-highest donor by firm size (125-174 attorneys), reflecting Sterne Kessler’s longstanding commitment to supporting access to justice and serving the broader community.

The 2026 Making Justice Real Campaign ran from June 22 through July 31, with more than 75 law firms participating. The campaign raised a record-breaking $4.69 million, ensuring that more DC residents can get the free legal services they need.

Legal Aid DC is the District’s oldest and largest general civil legal services organization. It provides free legal services to low-income DC residents on issues including housing, domestic violence and family law, public benefits, consumer law, and immigration.
