Bezos, a member of the firm’s Electronics Practice Group, has been appointed Chair of the American Intellectual Property Law Association’s (AIPLA) PTAB Trial Committee. Bezos’ two-year term is effective from October 2022 through October 2024.

The AIPLA PTAB Trial Committee consists of new and established practitioners who report on the latest information on significant decisions and trends related to inter partes proceedings before the USPTO Patent Trial and Appeal Board (PTAB). Some key initiatives the group focuses on are: rules, regulations, and decisions relating to PTAB proceedings, as well as providing recommendations concerning amicus briefs and comments submitted to the PTAB.
