Bloomberg Law wrote, “A Virginia federal court certified class for detained immigrant children and sponsors in a lawsuit that alleges a federal agency’s policy of sharing information about sponsors and household members with Immigration and Customs Enforcement results in prolonged detention of unaccompanied minors in its care, according to Sterne, Kessler, Goldstein & Fox. The firm’s lawyers, working pro bono, with co-counsel Legal Aid Justice Center and the Southern Poverty Law Center, filed the suit, JECM v. Hayes, on behalf of plaintiffs.”
