Director Monica Riva Talley was quoted in the article, "Inside the growing complexity of counterfeit networks, and how to uproot them," published by World Trademark Review.  The article explores how counterfeit networks are becoming increasingly complicated, combining diffuse online storefronts with offline supply chains. Among her comments, Talley revealed that "'seller networks are becoming more decentralised.'" Rooting out these networks requires a canny appreciation of how bad actors work with business models akin to their legitimate counterparts.
