Director Monica Riva Talley was quoted in the article “How to Infiltrate Social Media Groups that Shield Counterfeiters,” published by Managing IP.

In the article, Monica “says brands used to be more hesitant when it came to admitting to counterfeit problems, but they now seem more comfortable with explaining their troubles to consumers.

She adds that companies should communicate with their non-legal staff and make sure their sales and customer service teams are aware of any counterfeit issues. These employees can then report instances to legal when customers return products or call to complain.”
