A Sterne, Kessler, Goldstein & Fox team defending client York County, Pennsylvania earned an infringement suit victory in District Court in a case regarding a mail scanning system patent. The Court granted the 101 motion put forward by the Sterne Kessler team, deemed the asserted patent invalid, and dismissed the case. The team was led by Michael Specht, Uma Everett, Ryan Richardson, Will Milliken and Richard Crudo. The case is HLFIP Holding, Inc. v. York County, Pa., et al, M.D. Pa., No. 20-cv-00186, 4/25/22.
