Our speakers continued exploring the evolving landscape of post-grant proceedings and strategic considerations for both petitioners and patent owners. In this session, they covered:

  • The latest discretionary denial and Director Review developments at the PTAB since our last session.
  • Pending PERA and PREVAIL legislation – what these proposals mean for stakeholders and how to prepare for possible changes.
  • Mandamus petitions filed with the Federal Circuit challenging the USPTO’s retroactive application of the Fintiv memo rescission.

Designed for in-house counsel and corporate executives, these sessions provided timely updates on the latest developments at the PTAB, including key statistics, recent trends, and strategic insights on discretionary denial decisions.
