Sterne Kessler’s Jason Fitzsimmons, Jennifer Chagnon, and Melissa Haapala presented the second installment of our monthly “Navigating the New PTAB Playing Field” series. In this session, the presenters focused on:

  • Recent Director Review decisions
  • Director decisions on discretionary denial and initial trends
  • Legislative updates and updates on the confirmation process of USPTO Director nominee John Squires

Designed for in-house counsel and corporate executives, these sessions provided timely updates on the latest developments at the PTAB, including key statistics, recent trends, and strategic insights on discretionary denial decisions. To help shape the discussion, attendees were encouraged to submit questions in advance through the webinar registration page or by sending us an email.
