LSPN North America Fall 2025

Sterne Kessler Director Eldora Ellison, Ph.D. served as chair of the LSPN North America Fall 2025 conference, delivering the opening and closing remarks. On day two of the conference, Directors Jackie Wright Bonilla, Ph.D. and Deborah Sterling, Ph.D. led a roundtable session titled, “The Other Side of the Bench: Insights from Former PTAB Deputy Chief Judge.”

Jackie was also be a panelist during the “Navigating post-grant challenges: Strategic approaches in the US and Europe” session. This panel explored effective strategies for managing post-grant proceedings across key jurisdictions, comparing options in the US (including post-grant reviews and inter partes reviews with their emerging §112-through-§102 challenge tactics) with European alternatives such as EPO opposition proceedings and the evolving UPC litigation landscape.
