Featuring former judges from the Patent Trial and Appeal Board (PTAB), the session will offer a candid assessment of how the Board may operate once the current restructuring stabilizes and a new equilibrium emerges. Panelists will explore how institution decisions may shift in practice, how merits analysis could evolve, and how internal deliberative dynamics shape outcomes in ways that are often invisible from the outside.
