Bench and Bar Discussion of IPR Strategies

Associate Ethan Goldschen will moderate, and Director Lestin Kenton will participate as a panelist in the “Bench and Bar Discussion of IPR Strategies” webinar hosted by the PTAB Bar Association.

They will also be joined by Deputy Chief Administrative Patent Judge and Senior Legal Advisor Jacqueline Bonilla to discuss the most common mistakes practitioners make in IPR proceedings and tips for maintaining credibility. The panel practitioners will discuss strategies for drafting and defending IPRs, touching on tactics for finding and selecting prior art, motivations to combine, deposition strategy, and the preparation for and participation in oral arguments. The panel will also provide advice for appellate review and other practical tips for practitioners before the PTAB with strategic approaches for Petitioner side-representation and Patent Owner side-representation.
