Sterne Kessler’s Melissa Haapala and Jennifer Chagnon will speak at the 2026 PTAB Bar Association Annual Conference on March 19, 2026.

Melissa will serve as a panelist for Session 5 (10:20 – 11:20 a.m. (EDT)), “Current State of PTAB Practice,” where panelists will examine how PTAB practice has evolved in the wake of the March 2025 guidance. The discussion will highlight emerging trends, observable decision patterns, and strategic shifts shaping today’s PTAB landscape.

Jennifer will serve as a moderator for Session 8 (3:50 – 4:50 p.m. (EDT)), “Interactive Roundtable Sessions with PTAB Judges,” where participants will have the opportunity to engage in small-group discussion on selected roundtable topics with PTAB judges.

The Annual Conference convenes leading practitioners, in-house counsel, and members of the bench for a comprehensive look at the latest developments and practical insights in PTAB practice.
