This panel will discuss how we can represent a company and show value if it does not want to be seen as trying to extract licensing revenue from its competitors. Many companies build patent portfolio for cross licensing or other risk mitigation. We will explore various ways to demonstrate value. We will address how to gather data to show where money is spent, how to show ROI, and how to calculate the value of IP for different purposes such as M&A.
