Jabulani means "be happy" in Zulu. The ball features four triangular design elements on a white background. The triangular elements incorporate 11 different colors honoring each of South Africa's 11 official languages and representing the 11 players on a football squad.
A gold version of the Jabulani ball, the Jo'bulani, was the official ball for the World Cup Final played on July 11, 2010. The name of the ball was inspired by the city of Johannesburg, which is often nicknamed Jo'burg and was the site of the 2010 Final.
