Jeffrey T. Helvey is a director in Sterne Kessler’s Electronics Practice Group. His practice, specializing in the areas of RF circuit design and communications, includes all aspects of patent preparation and prosecution, the preparation of validity and infringement opinions, and reexamination practice.

Prior to joining the firm, Jeffrey worked for a defense and semiconductor manufacturer. His work was concentrated in microwave circuit design for commercial and military systems. His experience includes both modeling and design of GaAs monolithic microwave integrated circuits (MMIC) and various hybrid integrated circuit assemblies.

Jeffrey received his B.S. in electrical engineering from Pennsylvania State University, his J.D. from the University of Texas School of Law and his M.S. in electrical engineering from the University of Texas at Arlington. His graduate studies were concentrated in semiconductor device modeling and fiber optic communication systems.
