Sterne, Kessler, Goldstein & Fox has been recognized by The Legal 500 as among America’s leading firms in the area of patent prosecution for utility and design patents. The firm’s patent prosecution practice was ranked in the third tier, a two tier improvement from 2014.

The Legal 500 highlighted the firms work with both start-ups and companies with extensive and active portfolios and the firm’s work in developing a global utility and design patent portfolio for Method Products.

In addition to the firm’s ranking, five Sterne Kessler directors were recognized for their individual expertise. Eric K. Steffe was featured as one of eight “Leading Lawyers” for his work as the leader of the firm’s Patent Prosecution Group. Four additional directors received recognition including Carla Ji-Eun Kim for her expertise in the biotechnology space, Michael V.
